Students will undertake a market review and discuss required marketing strategies for the determined use. This will include an analysis of adjacent land uses, amenities in the general area, recent sales performances in the area, etc. Based on this information a marketing analysis will be carried out to determine the marketing viability of the project and site. Marketing costs are required for use in the proforma. Based on the refined proposal, a proforma will be completed to determine the financial viability. The proforma will detail revenues and expenditures and profitability.
The development feasibility study should end with assumptions, conclusions and recommendations. There is no minimum or maximum required length for this assignment. At the same time, there must be sufficient information to illustrate your understanding, review and decision-making process. Outlining the analysis being undertaken is very important.
