For admission in any university in the USA, universities regard a TOEFL/IELTS and GMAT score. Each state follows a different core curriculum of courses creating students of varying standards of education and the cost of education is slowly increasing every year. The dollar is becoming more powerful in the market leading to increased tuition expenses. Even with financial assistance, the cost of education in U.S.A is leaning towards the more expensive end, and in recent times some universities are losing their accreditation and with multiple issues of Indian student deportations, I cannot take chances in my career so I did not prefer to study masters in the USA. Canada tuition fees around CAD$20,000 to CAD$30,000 and living expenses are CAD$16,000 affordable only, but the university admission deadlines are closed for nearest intake, graduate certificate course is one year duration and PGDM in Project Management courses does not give me much scope and recognition in India also the outrageous climatic conditions are not favourable, in winters temperature goes down below -20 degrees centigrade and put up with 6″8 months of very cold weather, so I did not prefer Canada. In United Kingdom universities like Northumbria University offering MSc in Project Management for Ј15,000 per annum, Glasgow Caledonian University offering MSc in International Project Management for Ј12,980 per annum, Manchester Metropolitan University is offering MSc in Project Management for Ј16,500 per annum, addition to that cost of living is around Ј16,000-Ј18,000 and the intensive learning is completed in just a year. UK universities mostly offering 12-18 months course and the degrees are not accepted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and employers in India also the cost of living and course fees are too expensive for me so, I did not preferred UK for studying masters. I also searched for Masters in Poland. In Poland only two relevant courses are there as MBA in Strategy, Programme and Project Management which is offered by Gdansk University of Technology, and MSc Management and Manufacturing Engineering is offered by Wroclaw University. These two courses are not emphasizing on Project Management study area moreover there is no nearest intake and the next intake is February so I did not preferred Poland also. After looking into all the countries above I have decided to pursue my master’s in Australia as the course cost and cost of living (AU$ 20,290) is affordable to me and Australian degrees are recognized all over the world, and the education system in Australia is primarily based on immense problem-solving skills in the context of a real-world scenario in any field also the climate of Australia is similar that of Asian climate so, I have decided to pursue my higher education in Australia.Why Australia:I choose Australia over other countries because the quality of education in Australia is of high standard and it is the second most preferred study destination for International Students in the world. I decided to study Master of Project Management (Professional) at Bond University because the tuition fee is comparatively less and affordable for me, Bond has trimester.
