Check the current state of public health prevention efforts and health care in the United States. Do you believe that then-Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump used many of the suggestions?
Examine the “less than 50% of trackable objectives improved or met or exceeded” section. What organizations can you identify in your community, county, or state that have programs addressing these issues?

Comparison of U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump in Relation to Public Health Support Efforts

President Obama and President Trump had very different approaches to public health. President Obama was a strong supporter of public health, and he increased funding for public health programs during his presidency. For example, he signed the Affordable Care Act into law, which expanded health insurance coverage to millions of Americans. He also created the Prevention and Public Health Fund, which provides funding for a variety of public health programs.
