Here is briefly the approach to answer these two prompts:
2. There are two main form of COPD :
a) Chronic Bronchitis, which involve long term cough with mucous, that can lead to frequent respiratory infection
b) Emphysema, which involves damage to air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs as a result your body does nor receive sufficent oxygen, which can make you harder to catch your breath.
3. In severe COPD, it can lead to right sided heart failure, this occurs due to low level of oxygen in the lungs due to COPD causes increase in blood pressure of the arteries of lungs, condition known as pulmonary hypertension, this increase in pressure puts extra strain on the hearts right ventricles as it works to pump blood through lungs as a result heart muscles weaken and right sided heart failure occurs. Left sided heart failure is caused by high blood pressure or coronary artery disease, it is nor directly related to COPD, but the two condition may influence each other.

There are two main forms of COPD: Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema. Chronic bronchitis is a type of COPD that involves long-term cough with mucus, which can lead to frequent respiratory infections. The condition is characterized by inflammation and narrowing of the airways, which makes it difficult to breathe. In chronic bronchitis, the lining of the bronchial tubes becomes inflamed and produces excessive mucus, leading to coughing and difficulty breathing. Over time, the constant inflammation can damage the bronchial tubes, leading to scar tissue formation and further narrowing of the airways.

Emphysema is another form of COPD that involves damage to the air sacs (alveoli) in the lungs. This damage reduces the surface area of the lungs available for gas exchange, making it harder for the body to receive sufficient oxygen. In emphysema, the walls of the air sacs break down, reducing the number of small airways and increasing the size of the remaining ones. This reduces the amount of air that can be breathed in and out, and the lungs become less elastic. As a result, it becomes harder to catch your breath.
