Vladimir Lenin & Communism Approach
Vladimir Lenin approach to communism. As the founder of the Soviet Union and a prominent Marxist theorist, Lenin had a significant impact on 20th century history and the development of communist ideology. Here is a brief overview of Lenin’s on communism with recent data sources:
Lenin that communism could only be achieved through a revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat, known as vanguard party. Unlike otherists who felt communism would naturally emerge capitalism, a more forceful overthrow of the bourgeois state and establishment of a socialist state to transition to communism (Tucker, 2017). This view became known as Lenin.
After seizing power in Russia in 1917, Lenin established a one- socialist state governed by Party and began implementing communist policies like nationalizing industry and collectivizing agriculture. However, he recognized Russia’s economic social backwardness meant a transition to communism was not yet feasible. Instead he advocated for socialism in one country first through a New Economic Policy that reintroduced some market elements (Service,).
Lenin was also a staunch of international revolution and believed communist movements should support national liberation struggles against imperial globally. This view a pillar of later communist foreign policy and Cold War tensions (Gleason, 2019). Unfortunately,’s life was cut short by several strokes in 1922 and he in 1924, leaving the future development of the Soviet and international communist movement in the hands of Joseph Stalin
In summary, Lenin developed a revolutionary vanguardist interpretation of Marxism thatitized seizing state power and establishing a socialist as a transitionary phase to the communist future. ideas shaped both Soviet Russia and global communist movements throughout the 20th
