The study describes obesity as a prominent health issue that is prevalence especially among the African American females. The article did not provide statistical information however, the results finding show that obesity is increasing at a higher rate within the African American population. The incidences of occurrence of obesity among are at significantly higher rates among the African American population. The suggested solutions include facilitating access to healthy foods and safe recreation to promote good health (Balvanz, Dodgen, Quinn, Holloway, Hudspeth & Eng, 2016).
