Week 4 – AssignmentPatient Confidentiality and Informed Consent For this assignment, refer to the enrichment activity on p. 190 of your textbook. Imagine that you are the Director of Health Information Management at a health care institution. Determine how your institution will address issues of patient confidentiality and informed consent, including programs to educate staff on issues of patient confidentiality. Contemplate the increased use of computerized databases and electronic means of communication and the impact these will have on the issue of patient confidentiality.  Draft an outline of your institution’s policy on patient confidentiality and your plan for staff education.  Additionally, answer the following questions with regard to your outlined plan:a. How does your confidentiality policy compare with other health care institutions?b. How will you ensure that your policy complies with HIPAA regulations? c. What consequences will result from employees violating such a policy? Your completed assignment should be three-to four- pages in length (excluding title and reference pages) and must use a minimum of three to four scholarly sources (not including your text), formatted according to APA guidelines as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.     Carefully review the Grading Rubric for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your assignment.
