related to your question to create your evidence table and write-up.

2. Write an introduction to the PICOT question
that tells the reader what problem your PICOT question will address. Insert
your search strategy paragraph (PubMed and …) . From what you found in your
search, why are you including the 3 papers that are in your evidence table?
Based on feedback you received on this assignment, make improvements in the
search strategy if needed. (Points =4).
3. Create an evidence table that outlines the
findings of at least 3 papers (at least including 1 RCT) in the literature
related to your PICOT question. (Points=10). Use the actual format provided in
class, and put your evidence in the columns using the template provided. ( see

4. Write 1 paragraph each summarizing the
findings of the 3 papers ( 1 paragraph for each article). (Points=3)
5. Write 1 paragraph synthesis or summary of all
3 papers (Points=1).
6. Create references using AMA style (Points=1).
7. Summarize your overview of the papers by answering
the question: Does the evidence support doing something different in clinical
practice, and if so, what is it? One paragraph or so. (Points=4).
8. Attach in pdf format, the 3 papers that were
used in the evidence table. (Points=1).
Total=25 points.
Page limits: Title page=1 page, clinical
question, search strategy, and write up = maximum of 2 pages; evidence table
1-3 pages; references = 1 page. (Single space, Font size: 11-12 point, margins
0.5”). A maximum of 1 page each (1 study=1 page in the evidence table) for
the 3 studies in the evidence table.
