Please do a paragraph about this post with this instruction . post most have  4 or more  sentences . you also have to have a high quality post from a content perspective. This means it also needs to do more than agree with or praise a class mate. If you agree with a classmate, explain why, give an example, share what you learned in the readings, ask questions of each other, etc.Of the 7 different theories, I can relate to the family development theory the most. “The family development approach attempts to track change over time in a family. Families and individuals are engaged in a developmental process of growth, aging, and change over the life span” (Maurer & Smith, 2009, p.332). I myself have been through many of the stages.  I would currently fall under the school aged to adolescent stage.  I often find myself reminiscing about the early childbearing and preschool stages and contemplating about the upcoming stages of launching and middle age.  This theory makes the most sense to me.  I already categorize families this way when getting to know them.  I can relate to people on many different levels by acknowledging what stage they are in.  I can think back and remember what it was like being a newlywed or a new mom, or dealing with a toddler.  I can empathize and celebrate with parents of tweens and teens.  I am also able to understand how difficult sending a child off to college is as I remember how it affected my own family and myself when my sister went away to college.  I have also supported friends experiencing this.  I can only dream about when I get to retire.  It sounds fabulous but I also recognize that this can be a financial hardship and a loss of identity for some as my father is experiencing this now.  I don’t look forward to the aging stage, however, I can relate to this stage as well because I have watched my grandparents go through this until their eventual passing.  In my opinion, this theory helps nurses relate to families.  Although this theory has been criticized for not including all the different variances within families, it is the one that relates to the majority of families.
